Payment Sense, Brunel Building, London

Payment Sense, Brunel Building, London

The project involved working with Overbury to complete the fit-out of Levels 8 and 9 of the Brunel Building in Paddington to provide modern office accommodation.

This was a building that Moyne were already very familiar with having recently completed electrical design and installation for levels 1 & 2 of the same building.

The environment generally had the M&E services existing, extending from the base build connection points. However additional plant was required to be installed under the fit-out to serve the Communications rooms located on level 8 and 9. This was supplemented with a new CAT B Lighting system being introduced and integrated onto the existing building wide KNX control system via dali gateways. In addition, underfloor power was supplied via 63a bus-bar and associated tap off units throughout the floor complete with under-desk grommets.

“It was great to use Moyne for this project, as they were already familiar with the building after doing a recent refurbishment on some of the lower floors. This meant they knew what was involved in terms of get in and were able to smoothly manage the project from start to finish with minimal disruption to others in the building. This was particularly relevant for this job as we were in the middle of a pandemic! And as for the lighting design – it was amazing and totally captured the brief.”
